The Aqua One 167s comprises of two pieces of specially selected open cell polymer sponge designed to culture beneficial filtration bacteria and trap larger waste.
How Long Does the Aqua One 167s Last?
The 167s sponge may be rinsed out in a little aquarium water - never under the tap. The dirty water should then be discarded. Eventually, the cell structure of the 167s begins to break down and it should be replaced - we suggest every three to six months or so, depending on use.
