A complete Strainer, inlet and outlet pipe kit which replaces the pipes which were supplied originally with your Aqua One Aqua Vue 480 aquarium. A superb way of getting rid of old, gummed up or algae clogged pipework.
The filter pipework in your Aqua Vue 480 is more important than you think. The Aqua Vue intake strainer prevents large debris and even errant fish from being sucked up and blocking the pump, bringing filtration to an abrupt halt. While inlet and outlet pipework act to continually carry water from the aquarium through the filter and then back to the aquarium. Remember that a thick coating of gunge on the inside of the pipework can reduce flow rated by up the 35% - thats a third of your filtration gone just because the pipes are past their best.
