Aqua One Parts PL-18W Sunlight Compact Fluorescent Tube
A bright golden white PL18 Sunlight single colour tube from Aqua One Parts. Ideal for promoting photosythesis and penetrating deeper set ups. 4 pin fitting. The Sunlight formulation PL18 is Aqua One Parts brightest highest output PL tube and is ideal if you want to grow plants or just require punch into deeper set ups. The light is golden, full spectrum and promotes good photosynthesis. When changing any PL tube take your time and only ever grip the plastic base of the tube. They can become quite stiff to remove so take it slowly and gently wiggling the tube from side to side until it pops out. Make sure the new one is pushed firmly into place.

All PL tubes, in fact all Fluorescent tubes of all types, lose their output over time with the best performance being given over the first six to eight months. After this fish colours are lost and greater algae growth frequently occurs. We frequently mark the date on the end of the PL tube so we can check and see easily if its time is done.
