Aqua One's 157w polymer filter wool pad is designed to trap solid waste, plant debris and food particles preparing the water for the 157c carbon and ceramic cartridges. The fine, interwoven, polymer fibres attract even fine debris and have a good ability to not only trap but retain waste of all types. The 157w polymer pad will not rinse out effectively and should be replaced every four to six weeks.
