Both the Advance 1050 and Advance 1250 external filters utilise a two piece impeller cover assembly. This is the 'inner' component which sits against the impeller unit. and acts to locate the impeller unit. shaft making sure that the impeller unit. spins in an upright position without striking the sides of the impeller well. The outer impeller unit. cover twist locks over this one and is available separately.
