Ocellaris 1400UV Canister Filter
A Brand New Aqua One Ocellaris 1400UV external canister filter to suit aquariums of 250-400l. The Ocellaris 1400UV features a built in UV sterilizer to clarify aquarium water and help to control disease causing pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. The Aqua One Ocellaris 1400UV comes complete with all filter media, fittings and pipework, so it is ready to get to work within minutes. Application
The Aqua One Ocellaris 1400 is an external canister filter for use in tropical. Marine or cold water aquariums of 250 to 400l capacity. The Ocellaris 1400UV is identical but features an additional built in Ultra Violet Sterilizer to enhance water clarity and help control disease causing pathogens – well worth the small extra cost in our view.
What’s in the box?
The Ocellaris 1400 and Ocellaris 1400UV are supplied complete with all required hoses, taps, fittings and filter media. Both are ready to begin filtering your set up straight away, but will require cycling as any new filter will. We suggest adding a bottle of Aqua One’s excellent Bio Starter 150ml to speed this process along.
Media requirements.
The Aqua One Ocellaris 1400 and Ocellaris 1400UV use the Aqua One 139w Polymer Wool Pad along with the Aqua One 139s Blue sponge pad, Aqua One 140s Black sponge pad and, of course, Aqua One’s Bionoodles 600g. The addition of a bag of Aqua One’s Advance Carbon 450g will really help to clarify and polish your aquarium water.
