The Ocellaris 3000UV features a built in UV sterilizer to clarify aquarium water and help to control disease causing pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. The Aqua One Ocellaris 3000UV comes complete with all filter media, fittings and pipework, so it is ready to get to work within minutes. Application
The Aqua One Ocellaris 3000UV is an external canister filter for use in tropical. Marine or cold water aquariums of 400 to 600l capacity. The Ocellaris 3000UV features an additional built in Ultra Violet Sterilizer to enhance water clarity and help control disease causing pathogens – a very worthwhile extra in our view.
What’s in the box?
The Ocellaris 3000UV is supplied complete with all required hoses, taps, fittings and filter media. It is ready to begin filtering your set up straight away, but will require cycling as any new filter will. We suggest adding a bottle of Aqua One’s excellent Bio Starter 150ml to speed this process along.
Media requirements.
The Aqua One Ocellaris 3000UV uses the Aqua One 141w Polymer Wool Pad along with the Aqua One 141s Blue sponge pad, Aqua One 142s Black sponge pad and, of course, Aqua One’s Bionoodles 600g. The addition of a bag of Aqua One’s Advance Carbon 450g will really help to clarify and polish your aquarium water.
